If I had my own home I would first trade out all the lights bulbs to make them LED and I would also have my thermostat on a low setting and have strict rules about recycling and composting. I would get my electricity from solar panels on my roof. My house would be somewhere in the city but a quieter and less busy part that's more open. I would live close to my school and I would walk or bike there everyday and maybe sometimes bus. I would try and grow some of my own food but also get some locally grown food and realistically I would also get some from the store.
