How much does eating locally-produced food help the climate problem? What are the other potential environmental and social benefits of eating locally-grown/produced food? Do you have a food garden in your school or at home? If not, do you want one?

Students of the Lincoln Community School in Ghana have higher carbon footprint.
I would like to know why people believe that carbon footprint of the LCS students is higher than the average carbon footprint?
I believe it has to do with the fact that we live a different live than the average Ghanaian. Because a lot of use are from foreign countries, we fly to other countries, which heavily increases our carbon footprint. A lot of us dont use the public transport at all or only sometimes. However i believe the biggest impact after the traveling is the difference between the houses. Where a lot of us foreigners use the AC all of the time, whilst the average Ghanian doesn't even have an AC, and if they do they dont use it as much as the foreigners do.
Please share your thoughts on this.
Thank you
That would make having a higher carbon footprint kind of challenging. Maybe there's more statistics then you realized either way each family and each person would be different.
