How much does eating locally-produced food help the climate problem? What are the other potential environmental and social benefits of eating locally-grown/produced food? Do you have a food garden in your school or at home? If not, do you want one?

I think eating locally-produced food not only helps the climate problem but also helps keeps the money local. Local foods keeps down the carbon because they're is not as much transportation needed to get the foods from point a to point b. I do have a food garden at my house and have grown vegetables, fruits and herbs.
