It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Copper
I work in the air conditioning business, and everyday I see loads of copper, aluminum, and sheet metal being thrown out to normal waste. This is because most people don't realize not only it's worth, but also what it can do to save the environment if you choose to recycle it. These metals, especially copper can be worth a lot of money if you save up enough of it. When you have it turned in to be scrapped, not only are you benefiting by getting a little extra jingle in your pocket, but so is the environment. These are nonrenewable resources that over time are going to be depleted. So now while we can, we should choose to recycle these metals so we don't have to worry about it one day.
That's really interesting. I didn't know this, more people should know. I wonder they don't?
