There are many ways to reuse and extend the "lives" of items we buy and use. Reusing items creates less air and water pollution and ultimately results in less hazardous waste. Reusing items is also a great way to save money and help the environment at the same time.

I agree, and it's also a fun challenge to figure out new ways to use old things.
