What did you learn about dietary choices from using the footprint calculator? Now imagine that you could translate what you learned into an effective societal policy on food- what would it be? And how would this policy effect the need to alleviate world hunger?
925 million people on earth do not have enough to eat according to the FAO [Food and Agricultural Organization]. That's almost 1 in 7 inhabitants of our planet!

The World is Hungry
People need to start eating only what they need and not wasting food. In America at least, a lot of people eat so much that they endanger their own health, while people in other countries are starving. To help, we need to limit our food waste and not buy too much in the first place. People could also donate food to food banks or money to organizations supplying food to those in need.
But we don’t know what charities really help though.
This is a great point but how are you supposed to be able to trust the charitys and know there not benefiting
it's annoying that there's fake organizations and charities out there. ask people who've donated to charities before and just do as much research about the thing you're donating to as possible. just be informed. you can also try to get in touch with people involved in the organization idk
