All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.
Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?
Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!
Now It's Time for Action >

thats true its better if we adop a puppy insted of just buying it there is alot a dogs that are withou a home or food we need to start adop more dogs.
I agree with both of you! According to the Huffington Post, there are 125 humane societies in Canada alone and these citizen-funded associations shelter around 278,000 animals. Not only is it a lot cheaper to adopt than to get an animal bred, but it also helps a being that would have a much tougher life.
If you can't actually own a feline or canine, you can help by fostering! It is very simple and (depends on the shelter) usually only takes a few steps. First, you must give identification and go through an interviewing process. Then there might be a house visit to approve of your living habits. Lastly, you would be put with an animal!
