A better way than just throwing this away, is to find a way to repurpose them. This includes, cleaning things and reusing them and finding new purposes for the item. For example, if you have a plastic bottle, you can rinse it out and clean it, and use it for more drinks or projects.  By reusing and Repurposing items, you are reducing your carbon footprint, and keeping the environment clean and healthy.

I agree completely, almost everything can be reused and repurposed. One thing that can help feed the desire of getting something "new" is to buy clothing, lamps, and other home appliances from thrift stores. Reusing can also keep plastic out of the oceans. For example, when you get food to take out, you could bring your own plastic container and reusable bottle. For a start, we can begin saving all plastic containers and reusing them to help reduce our carbon footprint.

I agree with what you're saying mostly everything can be reused and repurposed.  it does help reduce your carbon footprint and helps the environment like when you buy something used instead of just buying something new although most people might want to get something new because you think its better-getting something used helps the environment which helps you. because being conscious about what you buy to help the environment which in the long run helps you.
