Envirmentally friendly eating
My carbon footprint from food eating was almost double what it should be, so, I researched how to reduce this number: 1. Avoid overly processed food. While fast food my seem great, quick, and tasty, the processing is very harmful to the environment. 2. Always buy locally when possible to reduce the distance food has to be transported to you. 3. Try to buy organic food. A lot of the time, buying foods that are "free-range" or free of pestisides is a complete joke. As many food produces tend to bend the rules a bit. However, their is no way to argue about was it or isn't organic, so it should be the primary aspect of food you consider when purchasing. By buying organic food you will reduce pollution, save water, and prevent soil erosion. 4. Lastly, a quick list of some of the most environmentally friendly foods to eat: Lentals, Garden Peas, Brocolli, Beans, Tomatoes, Nuts, and Oranges. Thank you for reading on how to improve the environment, I hope you learned a way to betterr your food habits. I got some information from https://www.onegreenplanet.org/animalsa … dly-foods/ - an article by writers from one green planet.
