Grown food helps create more economic opportunities. It also helps to provides better health benefits. When you buy from local farms, it creates more jobs for their business. Local food travels are much less distance to the store than a processed grocery store food, causing them to use less fuel and using fewer greenhouse gases. Homegrown food is healthier, because it's not processed, it's actually grown.
