It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Reusing Bags
One thing that my family does to reduce our carbon footprint is to bring reusable bags anytime we go shopping, whether it is to the grocery store or a clothing store. According to https://www.reusethisbag.com/articles/2 … -reusable/, the average American goes through 6 shopping bags per week, which means about 1.8 billion trash bags are being used and thrown away in America every week. When hearing about using a reusable bag, most people think only of bringing them to the grocery store. However, with the emphasis on protecting our planet, there are now a variety of types of reusable bags. Instead of bringing plastic bags filled with snacks to school, people can use reusable snack bags or a reusable container. In addition, bringing a lunch box instead of a paper or plastic bag also cuts down on waste. Lastly, bringing a large reusable shopping bag to a clothing store saves money and plastic and paper bags.
