When we purchase items from the store such as milk, fruits and many boxed or canned items, they all come with plenty of packaging. When many of us finish using the items, all of the packaging gets thrown away and will end up in the landfill or at the recycling places. If every person would take time to find a different use for the packaging after it's been used and cleaned, there would be a lot less waste ending up in landfills. For instance when you finish drinking all the milk, you could use the milk carton for a bird feeder. Or for example when you finish eating all the fruit from the plastic container, you could use it for storing different items.

Yesss Grace! There are many ways to reuse old household items. It’s a good way to get creative with younger kids and to create indoor or outdoor projects. Lots of amazing ideas are posted and shared around to promote repurposing used objects. I think more big solutions like thrifting should keep being presented as a way for our world to move forward in a more sustainable way. :-)
