All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.
Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?
Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

There are many things you can do to reduce your carbon footprint. Some things you can try to do is you can try to take more public transit or to bike more and drive less. You can also buy more locally grown food and items with less packaging. Eating more meat-free meals and less dairy, especially cutting down on your beef intake will greatly reduce your carbon footprint.
I agree. Sometimes it's the quick and easy decisions that can actually make the most impact on your carbon footprint. While we aren't always able to stop the largest greenhouse gas emissions from happening, there are still many actions that we can take to limit our personal contribution. (Such as: using gas-powered devices less or not at all, leaving lights/air conditioning off unless they are necessary, and other important measures.) Overall, in the case of climate change and environmental conservation, the little things matter!
This is definitely an ideal way to reduce ones footprint, I think we should all try this out, or some other variation!
I agree. People need to start to try and decrease their carbon footprint. While many people think it won't change anything, if everyone did their part it could greatly decrease the effects of greenhouse gases. In order to do this people can carpool, take public transportation, walk to places they can, eat less meat and more vegetarian meals. They can also reduce the amount of trash they throw out and recycle more items/materials.
