When you look at the materials you get from your day to day items, it can total more than what can be recycled. Things like egg cartons, compost cups, and hard plastic cups that don't have any identification can be used for more than their intended purpose. An example would be egg cartons that are used to start seed growth before planting them in the ground. Below is some information on recycling and reusing items.
