Local ways to reuse and repurpose
At home, there are many things you can do to reuse something you no longer have a use for. You can donate old clothes, appliances, and pretty much any other item you have to a thrift shop. This guarantees the item will find a new home and be reused. You can make fun art projects or decorate things with plastic items or recycled paper. The internet is a great place to get ideas!
I never thought of reusing items for things like decoration, but now I realized how good of an idea it is. I usually thought of reusing items for things like storage, because it could be really useful in some households. You are definitely right about being able to find ideas on the internet because things like social media exist.
My mom reuses plastic bottles and makes them into plant pots, which I think is a great idea. This not only helps decrease plastic pollution, but also decreases overall pollution because plants, especially trees, can greatly decrease CO2 levels.
