Not all the places have this type of trash container and it comes from the grey one. With the rests that where depposite in the container we can do compost that is can be use like fertilizer or generator of energy.
Is possible that you don´t have one near but, in this case you can learn how to do your own compost in home or at achool.
How to do it:
1)Its important to choose a place to do it. Its better a place that you can close and warm.
2)First you have to make a layer dry and woody with some manure.
3)Then you have to remove it and keep it rest. You have to put water in them sometimes.
4)A few months later (4/6) the layer must be composted.

I agree, schools here have started to do compost programs, and it is something everyone can do to cut down on their waste.

I think that maybe the glass car enterprises should recycle the glasses, extist many car glass enterprises but here in México one of the most important is Parabrisas y Cristales Automotrices

We started a compost program at our school two years ago and even worked with the cafeteria to change to more compostable containers.  It was great to see less waste going to the landfill.  We also started a worm bin where students would discard apple cores and banana peels, then used the castings in the garden.
