Fracking
In Australia, a river only a few kilometers from a fracking site has become flammable. Fracking is a process in which toxic liquids are used to extract natural gas from holes in the ground. These toxic liquids, after use, are left to sit, and can seep into nearby rivers. According to 350.org, several other places in the United States, Latin America, and South America also have toxic flammable water, all close to fracking sites. Fracking is a dangerous and terrible industry, and must be stopped at all costs, or damage to water and land will be deadly.
