Now It's Time for Action >
What I can do at home to reduce my carbon footprint.
After tracking my carbon footprint I noticed a few things that I do, that if I stopped doing or did less would make a big positive impact on my carbon footprint. Some easy things that I know I need to work on is turning off lights and un plugging things when they are done charging. Those might seem like simple tasks, but much too often I find my self in a rush out of the house and I leave a light on. If everyone, including me, had taking care of the earth in the back of our minds all of the time, little things like forgetting to turn the lights off would stop happening. If you think about it 7 billion people leaving the lights on in their house all day is no longer "little". Leaving the lights on is just one example of countless careless mistakes that we humans make daily. I challenge those reading this to think about one simple thing that you could do to help care for are planet.
