What's in an Engine & Why?
Aluminum 7075 T6

Aluminum 7075 T6 is used in application of high stress. It's tensile strength is around 570 MPa or 85 ksi. This aluminum alloy is also used in aircraft structures, and contains alloy agents such as zinc (Zn 5.6 wt.%), magnesium (Mg 2.5 wt%), copper (Cu 1.6 wt%), and chromium (Cr 0.23 wt%).
