UW Grants and Funding Information Service (GFIS) http://www.lib.washington.edu/gfis/ The following information is from their website:

The Grants and Funding Information Service (GFIS) works with master’s and doctoral students who have been admitted to or who are current students at the University of Washington. GFIS advises students how to locate and use various databases, web resources, and print resources to find both internal (university-funded) and external funding opportunities. It also hosts a variety of workshops for UW students and for individual departments. Upcoming workshops can be found on the GFIS blog. Undergraduate juniors and seniors who are considering graduate school should also attend a workshop or schedule a consultation. Searching and applying for fellowships and other types of funding often must be done during the Fall preceeding a student’s first year of grad school.

GFIS is located in the Research Commons on the Ground Floor of Allen Library South in room G86A. They have drop in hours for students; check out their website for more information.
