Koch Summer Fellow Program – Deadline to Apply 1/31

Paid Public Policy Internship Opportunity

Application Now Available for Summer Policy Internships

On behalf of the Institute for Humane Studies, I am pleased to announce that the 2013 application is now open for paid summer public policy internships through the Koch Summer Fellow Program (KSFP).

Highlights:

  • Eight weeks of paid work experience with federal and state-based think tanks, and policy organizations (placements based on interests and availability)
  • Opportunities to learn from experts and fellow participants during two weeklong policy seminars in Washington, DC
  • Meaningful interaction with individuals interested in advancing individual liberty and economic opportunity through public policy
  • Stipend, travel allowance, and housing assistance

How does KSFP translate into a career in policy?

Just ask Elizabeth Robinson, a KSFP alum who interned with the Alabama Policy Institute before her senior year of college. After graduating this past May, Elizabeth returned to the Alabama Policy Institute as a fulltime policy analyst and grant coordinator.

Please take a moment to forward this email to students and recent graduates, or invite them to explore the opportunity here: http://www.theihs.org/koch-summer-fellow-program

Application deadline: January 31
