Ginger Colamussi, a first year MSW day student and Graduate Student Assistant in the Q Center is coordinating Safe Zone Training on campus. Last quarter, many students requested additional information and training on queer topics, being a queer ally, and working with queer clients, so she would like to plan a Safe Zone Training for all interested MSW students this quarter.
But before a date is scheduled, she also wants to invite any MSW students who have input for the training or would like to help plan or facilitate the training to meet with her next Friday, January 18th at 10:30 AM in the Q Center. (Queer and ally students are all welcome!) The Q Center is located on the third floor of the Q Center, in room 305.
