Learn to Teach English Overseas: Information Sessions

Want to travel overseas? Thinking about teaching English to non-native speakers?

I-TEFL is a 120-hour profession certificate program that will prepare you to teach English by learning how to create lesson plans and manage a classroom and you will be covering current research and theory for teaching reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and more. The I-TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Professional Certificate Program is offered by UW Professional & Continuing Education.

The next session runs summer B-term and classes are held Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm. An evening session will be offered during winter – spring quarters 2014.

We are encouraging seniors, recently graduated students and international students to apply for the I-TEFL program.

Interested? Have questions? Attend an information session! After an overview of the I-TEFL program, one of UW’s top ESL instructors will present a sample English lesson. Pizza and refreshments provided.
