What’s this common book event all about?

Dr. Julian Perez is doing a talk about how health and legal professionals can work together to address the social determinants of health.  He will focus on specific work he has done through SeaMar Community Health Center in support of farmworker health, though the collaborative possibilities that exist between health and legal professionals can apply to any patient population.

Who is Dr. Perez?

Dr. Perez is a strong advocate for health as a human right for all. He believes that the work of primary care physicians is to ensure the health and well being of the people of our country. He is an advocate for universal health care for all, and supports the community health center model as the instrument for achieving this goal.  (http://www.seamar.org/provider_det.php?xprv=110&xloc=38&xser=1&xserloc=21&xcty=4)
