CWTAP applications due 5/8, info session on 4/30!

ATTENTION ALL FIRST YEAR DAY AND FIRST YEAR EVENING STUDENTS ONLY :

This email is to inform you that the CWTAP application is now available on our website. It can be accessed at:

Please see below an invitation to apply to our exciting program:

The Child Welfare Training and Advancement Program (CWTAP)

  •  CWTAP is a Federally Funded-Title IV-E program, in partnership with the UW SSW-Seattle/Tacoma, EWU, and Children’s Administration of Washington State
  • The main goal of the program is the recruitment and retention of master’s level culturally competent social workers to serve children and families through the public child welfare system
  • Students accepted into the program will receive quarterly financial assistance (up to 100% of tuition) and specialized field experiences within the Children’s Administration
  • All non-CA participants must be in the CYF or Multi-gen (EDP) concentration
  • Graduates of the program agree to work for CA post-graduation for a period of time commensurate to their time within the program.
  • All newly admitted students from each program, will receive an invitation to apply to the CWTAP program
  • The invitation will include the dates and times of  information sessions and program deadlines

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

 

  • APPLICATION ORIENTATION: Thursday, April 30, 2015 9am-Noon

 

  • APPLICATION DEADLINE:  Friday May 8, 2015 by 5pm.

 

  • CWTAP INTERVIEWS: Week of May 11th & May 18th

 

  • CWTAP CONTRACT SIGNING:  TBD
