Programming coming up next week for Trans Day of Remembrance:

TDOR Sign Making
Q Center, HUB315 All Week
Join the Q Center during their normal operating hours to honor those who have lost their lives to transphobia, racism, sexism, and other intolerable forms of bigotry by making signs and other forms of art. Or enjoy hot tea and cocoa and use their back room for self care and centering exercises.

Pantran Student Discussion
Q Center, HUB 315 3-4PM 11/15
A space for those concerned about transgender rights at the University of Washington, we intend to identify problems faced by trans/gender-nonconforming student, staff, and faculty, network resources and efforts to improve these situations, and meet and greet like-minded individuals.

Gender Discussion Group
Q Center, HUB 315, 4-6PM
A weekly, facilitated meeting centering conversation by and for transgender and gender non-conforming folx.

Gender Diversity Training
Allen Auditorium 4-6pm 11/15
Presented by Gender Diversity, a local organization dedicated to improving the lives of trans and gender nonconforming people. This training will help attendees understand the most fundamental things about transgender people to be more inclusive, kind, and understanding.

Healing Circle/AdvoQTs Party
Q Center, HUB315 6-7:30pm 11/17After a long week of fun events, come to the Q Center to enjoy light refreshments, art, and a relaxed atmosphere to be yourself in.
Hunt the Bathroom presented by AdvoQTs
Meet at the Q Center, HUB315 1-2:30pm 11/18
Earn rewards and learn about our campus as you help the AdvoQTs to find gender netural bathrooms! Finding these bathrooms will help your trans and gender nonconforming classmates find a safe place to go to the restroom, and the results of our survery will be distributed around campus for all to use!”

Group Remembrance
Seattle City Hall 7pm 11/20
Join TDORSeattle, Seattle Trans Social, The Emerald City, Gender Justice League, Ingersoll and Social Outreach Seattle at the annual Seattle Trans Day of Remembrance. Anyone interested in going as a group please talk to the Queer Student Commission Director, Alice, to discuss details.

The Husky Union Building is near landmarks such as Allen Library, Padelford and Sieg.

The HUB’s front entrance is wheelchair accessible and the common area is to the right of the main desk.
An all-genders restroom can be found at the 3rd floor, down the hallway from the Q Center. Binary bathrooms with multiple stalls can be found on every floor of the HUB.

The HUB is not kept scent-free but we ask that you do not wear scented/fragranced products (e.g. perfume, hair products) or essential oils to/in the Q Center in order to make the space accessible to those with chemical injury or multiple chemical sensitivity.

The Allen Library Auditorium can be accessed via the ground floor, in the north wing of Allen Library. The room is wheelchair accessible and spaces for wheelchairs are available in the back of the room.
