Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships award up to $7,500-$33,000 to UW students studying French or Canadian Indigenous Language including the Inuit language and the regions where they are spoken. Each fellowship includes an institutional payment and a subsistence allowance. Awards are available for Summer 2017 or the 2017-18 Academic Year. Deadline is January 31, 2017 at 5 PM PST. The Corbett British Columbia-Washington International Exchange Program Fund provides an opportunity for undergraduate students at the University of Washington to spend two semesters at the University of British Columbia or University of Victoria; and for students from the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria to spend three quarters at the University of Washington.
