Presented in partnership with the King County Commercially Sexually Exploited Children Task Force and City University, this workshop will equip professionals with the right tools to work with children and youth who have been commercially sexually exploited or who are at risk of commercial sexual exploitation. The content is applicable for service providers and community members and provides a foundational overview of the issue of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking of youth within a cultural framework.  Topics include:  Defining Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking; The Landscape of Sexual Exploitation; Identifying Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking of Youth; Impacts of Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking; and Interventions and the Exit Process. This workshop will feature large group and small group discussions, group activities, and video segments.

6 Continuing Education Hours are available for: LMHCs, LICSWs, LMFTs, and CDPs.
