The Special Olympics USA Games are coming to UW July 1 – 6, 2018. You can create lifelong memories this summer by signing up to volunteer!
Over 4,000 athletes and coaches will be arriving June 30, and staying in the North and West residence halls on the UW Seattle campus. The USA Games events will be held on the University of Washington campus and in surrounding communities. You can choose from many available opportunities including:
· Residence hall assistance
· Concierge service
· Athlete escorts
· Light Rail assistance
· Cheer line
· Opening ceremonies, nationally televised live on ESPN, on July 1 in at Husky Stadium
· 4th of July barbeque and dance.
· Athletic competitions including track and field, power lifting, basketball, tennis, volleyball, flag football, bocce ball at UW; bowling at Kenmore Lanes; golf at Willows Run Golf Course in Redmond; and softball and swimming in Federal Way
Volunteers are needed to make the USA Games a success, and you can help ensure that the athletes, their families and spectators have a great time.
