Dear SSW students,
I am very happy to announce that the application process to the Specialization in Practice with Latinas and Latinos Program is now open!
First Year Students, Advanced Standing Students and Students in EDP entering their 2nd year–Apply Now! Deadline is April 18!
If you have a commitment to Latinx communities and if you want to grow and strengthen your practice skills in engaging Latinx individuals and communities, then consider applying to the Specialization in Practice with Latinas and Latinos Program in the SSW.
You do NOT have to be Latinx or speak Spanish to participate. Students from all concentrations in the SSW are welcomed!
The application process is very straightforward. To apply please email a 2-3 page cover letter and your current CV to Gino Aisenberg at: ginoa@uw.edu
In your cover letter, you must 1) indicate the reasons you are applying to the Specialization in Practice with Latinas and Latinos program and 2) specify experiences (e.g., personal, volunteer, work, family) that highlight your commitment to Latinx communities.
You will be notified of a decision regarding acceptance into this program no later than April 30th.
