Dr. Mike Matrone will be leading a workshop to guide you through the process of developing an elevator speech that is essential for your job talk and networking. An elevator speech is a clear and brief message about you. It communicates who you are, what you are looking for and how you can benefit from a company or organization.

About the speaker:

Mike Matrone, Ph.D., is the associate director for the Office of Career & Professional Development and program director for Non-Academic Career Development at the University of California, San Francisco. His mission is to empower the next generation of scientists to make informed decisions about their career choices and professional development. As a trained scientist, he provides career education and professional development to graduate students and postdocs.
