Career & Internship Center Resource Updates
Labor Market Updates
Last week we hosted a student Ask Me Anything session on the labor market. I updated the PPT deck yesterday and you can view it here. Feel free to share the deck with students. I am going to *try* to update and re-upload it each Monday.
Resource Updates
- Our Student FAQs: COVID 19 + Career now has a short section geared towards international students. It also has the labor market slide deck I mentioned above.
- Our new Connecting with Employers Virtually page highlights all the different ways employers are eager to engage with students for recruiting and educational purposes. It also contains links to helpful student-facing resources produced by Handshake, and a Handshake widget that highlights remote/virtual job opportunities
- Some new events:
- Virtual Interview Set Up Feedback Fest, April 17th
- AMA Series: Continuing my education during COVID 19 – Should I go to Grad School now, later or never?, April 30
- Pending final contract review, we hope to host a Virtual Job & Internship Fair on May 13th. More to come as details come together.
- We have plenty of availability for students to have their resume reviewed, meet with someone for quick advice during drop-ins, and meet with a coach for a scheduled appointment so please send students our way!
