Joshua Center (Paid) Short-Term Project Opportunity- App Deadline 04/07 @5pm

The Joshua Center on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention is searching for an MSW student to identify web-based resources on pornography consumption in youth. We are interested in a broad scan of available information and materials related to youth pornography consumption, its effects, corrective messaging, and prevention.

*Specific tasks include:*

  1. Identify web-based resources, including written material, videos, courses and other materials
  2. Copy best materials
  3. Maintain a list of all identified sites with URL addresses.
  4. Provide a brief description and quick assessment of each resource.
  5. Identify a list of “best materials” for us to review.

*Applicants must be:*

  • A current MSW student.
  • Proficient in web-based research.
  • Able to attest that the review of pornography prevention materials will not be triggering.

Applications should be submitted to Center Director, Jon Conte @ contej@uw.edu no later than April 7, 2021 5PM

Applications should be no longer than one page describing relevant prior experience and why the individual believes they would be ideally suited for the project. Resumes are optional but may be beneficial to convey qualifications.

*Timeline:* the project must be completed by May 30, 2021

*Payment:* Single project fee of $1000
