UW GHHS Presents: Military PTSD: How to Maintain the Fighting Force- 04/28 @7pm

On Wednesday, April 28th at 7pm PST the UW GHHS Veterans Health Initiative is excited to present:  “Military PTSD:  How to Maintain the Fighting Force”

Dr. Anil Joseph Kulangara, MD,MPH

UW Psychiatry Residency, PGY-4

Come learn about PTSD issues that affect our veterans.

Interested students can download and try out the following (FREE) apps provided through the VA and developed by the Defense Health Agency (DHA):

– PTSD Coach: a good all-around app for PTSD self-evaluations, exercises, and education

– PE Coach: an app for tracking and organizing a Prolonged Exposure plan

– Virtual Hope Box:  a MUST HAVE FOR EVERYONE – I highly recommend downloading, setting up, and pinning to your home screen.  A good place to organize your favorite pictures, videos, and memories for easy access when you’re feeling your least motivated/effective.
