Injury and Violence: A Public Health Approach (EPI 585) will be offered spring quarter of 2022. Course material includes a unit devoted to studying child maltreatment as well as one focused on intimate partner violence. Co-professors Avanti Adhia and Vivian Lyons encourage anyone interested to enroll as they hope to “create a class with students from different schools and programs to focus on injury and violence prevention with a structural lens and a focus on translation of evidence into practice and policy”.
