Enviro Justice, Economic Justice, and LGBTQ Grant Appl’n-5/6

Hello  Social Justice Fund NW community,
We are excited to announce six grant cycles and introduce our new online
application form. Please read below for all information.

Environmental Justice, Economic Justice, and LGBTQ Grant Application
Deadline: Monday May 6, 5pm PST

Criminal Justice, Montana, and General
Grant Application Deadline: Thursday
May 23, 5pm PST
All grant cycles will:

– Provide general operating support of community organizing led by the
people most directly impacted by injustice and inequality.

– Fund 501(c)3 OR (c)4 organizations, tribal governments, or organizations which
do not have (c)3, (c)4, or tribal status but which are sponsored by an
organization which does have such status.
All grant cycles except for Montana will fund region-wide (Idaho, Montana, Oregon,
Washington and Wyoming). Montana organizations applying to any other grant
cycle will automatically be rolled over to the Montana grant cycle, unless they
request otherwise.

If this is your first time applying to Social Justice Fund NW, please attend the
orientation OR speak to one of our program staff before submitting your
application.

Orientation Webinar/Conference Call:

Thursday
April 18, 1:00 – 2:00pm PST

1:00- 1:30 — This portion is strongly recommended for
all first-time applicants. We will explain our grantmaking criteria,
principles, and process and answer questions as time allows.

1:30- 2:00 — This is portion is suggested for anyone interested in applying,
whether you have applied to Social Justice Fund before or not. We will
explain our new online application process and answer questions as time
allows.
