ARWAG (anti-racism and white allies group) Meeting – 11/18
This coming Wednesday, November 18, ARWAG (anti-racism and white allies group) meeting will have three foci:
- Discussing racism and white privilege with family and friends over the upcoming holiday weekend. What are some effective strategies for discussing racism and white privilege, and for interrupting racism and microaggressions? Bring your hopes and fears about family gatherings.
- Debriefing last Thursday’s Black Lives Matter rally and march, and discussing strategies to support the movement 3. As usual, we will support to openly address white privilege and racism in our lives.
We meet in the Research Commons, study rooms 2/3, from 5-6:30 PM. Come for all or part of the session.
