Details:
Let’s come together before the quarter ends with a Zumba dance party! This is a FREE event and all skill levels/abilities are welcome. This is intended to be a fun opportunity for self-care/exercise/community building among SSW students/faculty. If you’ve never tried Zumba before, feel free to come check it and start the weekend off on a high note before heading into the final week of class! This event is casual-you can show up late or leave early. Hope to see you there!
Adaptations:
This is a very active workout, but modifications will be provided as much as possible for those that would like alternatives (e.g. chair Zumba)
I’m sorry I do not have any ASL translators set up for this event, but if you would like to join and are interested in coordinating this with a translator, please feel free to do so!
Attire:
Wear comfortable/loose fitting clothing you don’t mind moving around in.
Bring:
Water bottle (optional) or feel free to use water fountains outside the room.
