Dr. Lorin Freedman is the clerkship site director. He will observe students’ performance of the neurological examination within the first two weeks of the rotation, and provide feedback. Hopefully, this will happen in the last 2 weeks, as well, to ensure mastery of the neurological examination. The clinical mini-CEX should / can be performed with any of the site preceptors. TBD is the clinic RN who has control of the schedules and is a good resource. Please email Lorin Freedman your 3-6 specific goals for the month within the first week of the rotation so that your experience is as rewarding as possible.

You will work with many neurologists in our group, with some inpatient and some outpatient weeks. You will be excused in time to return to Seattle for Thursday afternoon didactics, but you should remind your supervising faculty of this each Thursday morning. A schedule will be provided to you on a weekly basis. If you have any questions or concerns about scheduling, please contact Lorin Freedman by email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
