Opening the Search form

The search form is the starting point for building new searches, and also lets you quickly narrow your search results and combine the results of different searches with simple drag-and-drop methods.

To open the Search form

With the Home Window or the Subject List form open, click Subjects > Search.

Each box on the Search form represents a different table in Otobase. All display the highlighted Create New Set as the first item in their set list.

The subject list automatically includes the current set of subjects displayed in the Subject List form. All set names end with the number of records in the set. The new sets you create will also appear in these table windows, and you'll be able to drag them to other tables to find sets of records that are common to both tables.
