Category:

Topic:

  • Based on a screening questionnaire for post-partum depression, 15% of women (n=223) whose last trimester of pregnancy overlapped with national lockdowns in Turkey and gave birth in a tertiary care center with strong hospital restrictions were considered at risk for postpartum depression, compared to an estimate of 8% of post-partum women in a period prior to the pandemic. These women also had lower Maternal Attachment Inventory scores than women who were not at risk for postpartum depression.
