  • A retrospective cohort study found that among 12,306 pediatric patients with lab-confirmed COVID-19 in the US, 5% were hospitalized, 18% needed critical care services and 4% required mechanical ventilation. 14% experienced gastrointestinal symptoms, 8% had dermatological symptoms (rash), 5% had headache, and 19% had other symptoms (fever, malaise, myalgia, arthralgia and altered smell or taste).
