Abstract: This project will develop advanced knowledge in practical aspects of riparian area and range management for resource managers and absentee land owners in Sherman County, Oregon. The program will deliver a field presentation of identification of select noxious weeds and invader species; biological and chemical management; and growing, protecting and managing riparian grasses including strategies for sustainable management that may include controlled access by livestock and/or wildlife. Program will also include emphasis on state regulations about keeping waters clean.
