Abstract: Funds under this award are to be used to establish a student assistantship to develop scientific resources and decision-making tools associated with the future use of assisted migration, and to support an associated regional workshop.

The Service Will:
• Sponsor one graduate student assistant by providing associated on-site supervision, support and office resources to ensure successful completion of the scope of work.
• Provide for direct staff engagement in the project, including co-development of products.
• Help coordinate the interagency workshop associated with this project.

The Recipient Will:
• Provide, with associated evaluation and selection support, a graduate student assistant who will carry out the scope of work, physically located at the Pacific Regional Office.
• Provide associated administrative and mentoring support by the student’s academic advisor.
• Provide associated institutional guidance and education on topics that will facilitate the student assistant’s capacity to complete the project successfully.
• Provide tuition remission and associated insurance and fees.
