Abstract: Funds under this award are to be used to: (1) Identify and conduct drone surveys of potential habitat for Showy Stickseed (Hackelia venusta) and (2) Evaluate techniques for and impacts of woody species removal on Wenatchee Mountains Checkermallow (Sidalcea oregana var. calva).

The Service Will:
• Assist with project planning through recovery planning teamwork
• Assist with establishment of baseline information for proposed treatments
• Support and assist with on-site manipulations and data recording
• Coordinate with landowners and land managers to share information, maintain positive working relationship, schedule site visits for baseline data collection, treatment implementation, and monitoring

The Recipient Will:
• Coordinate with the Service in project planning, data collection, establishment of baseline information and proposed treatments
• VVork with the Service to coordinate communications and site visits with land managers and private landowner to maintain a positive working relationship
