Abstract: This effort is focused on: 1) the potential risk of surface and shallow groundwater resources becoming contaminated by mineral development activities, and 2) identifying the values at risk (i.e. such as steams, springs, and shallow aquifer wells) rather than quantitative estimation of contamination probabilities. The analysis will characterize the value of these sites, via value transfer and other mehtods, and risk will be estimated primarily as a function of proximity to the resource.
