Abstract: The goal of this research is to lay the groundwork necessary to update the NHD in Alaska to meet national standards by 2020. Objective includes working with the USGS, AHTWG and Alaska LCC’s to create the initial framework and capacity, develop a statewide strategy to update the statewide NHD and expand AK Hydro implementation from existing regions (Southeast AK, Southcentral AK) to the rest of the state.
