Total Funding: $8,460

Abstract: The goal for this research project is accurate detection of foothill yellow legged frogs from previously-collected environmental DNA samples. Will also test for evidence of coastal tailed frogs (Ascaphus truei) and southern torrent salamanders (Rhyacotriton variegatus) in these samples.

Objective: Extracted eDNA samples will be analyzed using quantitative PCR on a CFX96 Touch Real-Time PCR Detection System (Bio-Rad).
