Abstract: Identifying daily and seasonal activity patterns and movements of Red Tree Voles. The NFP is designed to provide habitat for late-successional forest species such as the red tree vole and at the same time provide commodity outputs for social and economic benefits. To date, the lack of contextual information has precluded timber harvests in soe stands because of the presence of red tree voles. This project will provide much needed insight into the habitat needs and movement patterns of the red tree vole and permit managers to formulate plans to ensure persistence of the vole while conducting forest management activities.
