Abstract: The Fire Science Research Program was developed in response to growing concerns over the lack of scientific information relative to fire salvage, fuels management and the effects of wildfire on ecological processes and wildlife. This research proposal was developed to specifically address the lack of current knowledge relative to fire restoration, salvage and future fire potential in southwestern Oregon.
